How does Drive Stories work?
The app will automatically find your GPS coordinates and based on your geolocation, will identify your nearest city as well as a list of 10 of the nearest cities, towns and villages near you. This gives you control and granularity if you are curious or have a specific location in mind. Simply tap 'play' and Drive Stories will start to play audio telling you all about that location. You can also select from 15 categories to change the type of 'story' that is played. Additionally, you can choose from 10 'voices' as well as from 50 languages! Can I use the app on Apple CarPlay?
Yes! Use Drive Stories directly on your vehicle's Apple CarPlay system for ease of use and simplicity. Just tap the icon, select a location and hit play.
Are there stories near me?
Yes, unlike other similar apps that have just a few thousand stories and only in English, Drive Stories works ANYWHERE in the world and in over 50 languages. The possibilities are pretty staggering: there are roughly 4 million cities, towns and villages in the world. Multiply that by 15 story categories for each location, and you can see Drive Stories has the potential of delivering well over a potential of 60 million unique stories.
Does Drive Stories share my location data?
No, Drive Stories does not share any location data. Our paid memberships ensure that no advertisers have access to your location and Drive Stories does not share this data with third parties.
